Over 60% of COVID-19 hospitalizations due to four pre-existing conditions
A study in the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) suggests that 64% of adult COVID-19 hospitalizations in the US are attributable to just four pre-existing conditions.
COVID-19 hospitalizations attributable to these four conditions were highest in Black adults, followed by Hispanics and then whites.
